The driving force behind this project is singer Felix Heldt, who is known as a songwriter and producer for bands such as Feuerschwanz and Visions Of Atlantis. As Dr. Dead, he takes listeners into the world of the undead and tells stories of zombies, the struggle for survival, and an insatiable hunger for more.

The centerpiece of DOMINUM's debut Album is the fascinating storytelling, perfected through brilliant songwriting and musical talent, combining unbridled power metal with a horror appeal on the 13 tracks. The opener, 'Immortalis Dominum,' immediately sets the mood with a synth wave intro that quickly transitions into a gripping chorus. The massive power metal track, 'Danger Danger,' impresses with its skillful instrumentation and lively lyrics that depict the threat in a zombie apocalypse. The title track, 'Hey Living People,' is undoubtedly a catchy hit that will certainly create an atmosphere both on Rock radio and on major festival stages. DOMINUM's debut single, 'Patient Zero,' was released along with a horror-like music video by 360 Grad Design (including Rammstein, Peter Maffay, Within Temptation), which showcases the quality reminiscent of a feature film. With sharp solos and sing-along choruses on tracks like 'Cannibal Corpses' and 'Better Shoot Yourself,' as well as meaningful lyrics in songs like 'We All Taste The Same,' Hey Living People delivers top-notch entertainment. In addition to their own songs, DOMINUM also presents epic zombie metal versions of three well-known songs: the legendary 80s hit, 'You Spin Me Round (Like a Record)' by Dead Or Alive, Billie Eilish's 'Bad Guy,' and 'Beds Are Burning' by Australian Rock band Midnight Oil.

Hey Living People was produced by band leader and main songwriter Felix Heldt, and recorded in collaboration with Jacob Hansen (Amaranthe, Arch Enemy, Katatonia, Delain, Evergrey, and many other prominent metal bands), who also mixed and mastered the Album. DOMINUM has already been booked for many major festivals in the summer of 2024, without even releasing a single song. However, before they conquer the festival stages, they will already be heating up anticipation for their debut Album on their tour of Germany with Equilibrium and Die Apokalyptischen Reiter in the autumn.
