'In Teufels Namen' is the stunning new album by MEGAHERZ, which will be released on August 11, 2023. During their thirty-year career, the co-founders of Neue Deutsche Härte have undoubtedly become one of the most important and influential bands in the genre. The quintet has already proven their strength and vitality with powerful albums like 'Kopfschuss,' 'Götterdämmerung,' and 'Zombieland,' but especially with their acclaimed last masterpiece 'Komet,' which entered the German album charts at #7. With 'In Teufels Namen,' they continue their success story with a wild ride through what MEGAHERZ has always represented: hard-hitting sounds and honest lyrics. They mercilessly hold a mirror up to society, while also daring not to confront their own emotions. Merciless, polarizing, emotional – simply MEGAHERZ.

The new album kicks off directly with the gripping title track, 'In Teufels Namen.' It combines a typical MEGAHERZ riff with an epochal chorus, in which sins and personal mistakes are dealt with harshly, setting the tone clearly – without much talk, the finger is directly pointed at the wound. 'Der König Der Dummen' is one of the hardest songs on the album, bluntly commenting on conspiracy theorists and tin foil hat wearers, while 'Alles Arschlöcher' spares no one. In addition to synth melodies, electronic influences, and powerful lyrics, a new punk attitude enriches the album, which can also be heard in the track 'Engelsgesicht.' The latter has by far the highest hit potential and thematically follows classics like 'Jagdzeit' and the legendary hit 'Miststück.' The album is rounded out by calmer and more emotional tones in the songs 'Kannst du den Himmel sehen' and 'Auf dem Weg zur Sonne,' which, despite their ballad-like mood, are full of strength. 'In Teufels Namen' is undoubtedly a clenched fist that clearly shows that even after three decades, MEGAHERZ have a powerful voice when it comes to making their mark on the scene!
