16.11.2011 julkaistavalla DVD:llä on mukana 66-minuuttinen MTV-keikka kokonaisuudessaan (myös "Something in the Way" ja "Oh Me", jotka eivät päätyneet lähetykseen), viisi ennen kuulematonta biisiä konsertin harjoituksista sekä bändin ja yleisön haastatteluita.
On 18 September 1993 filmed at Sony Music Studios, a show for the first time on December 14 was aired in 1993, just four months before Kurt Cobain's tragic death. The DVD, "MTV Unplugged In New York" comes in both Dolby Stereo and 5.1 surround sound, and features both versions, the shorter version as it was broadcast on MTV, and the entire site. As "MTV Unplugged In New York" in November 1994 appeared on CD, the disc landed at number # 1 on the Billboard charts, the Grammy Award won for Best Alternative Music Album and was already two years later with five-times platinum was awarded .
The DVD has been added to the MTV News feature "Bare Witness", the interviews with the band, as well as employees of MTV fans in the audience has. Also as a bonus, there are records of "Come As You Are", "Polly," "Plateau," "Pennyroyal Tea" and "The Man Who Sold the World", which originate from the samples to the concert.
