After surprisingly performing for BBC Radio 1 and presenting their full length debut album "Gnosis", The Monuments immediately found a rabid fan base. These guys are celebrated for their sophisticated and song orientated approach to hard music as they bypassed the progressive metal gap in a different way than any other band before.
Two productive years later 'The Monuments', now supported by vocalist Chris Barretto (Ex-Periphery, Ever Forthright), are still going strong. While they still indulge in instrumental gymnastics they have expanded to writing monumental and incredibly catchy songs for their new album "The Amanuensis" - greater, more evil and more epic than ever before.
