Swiss alchemists Zeal & Ardor are excited to announce their new, self-titled album! The 14-track opus was recorded by Marc Obrist and Manuel Gagneux at Hutch Sounds and mixed and mastered by Will Putney at Graphic Nature Audio. All songs were written by the gentle, multilingual frontman Gagneux, with some German lyrics blending with English. The band themselves say that with this album, they have finally arrived at where they wanted to go with the band. They have worked on the album for a long time and it was important to them that listeners could immediately immerse themselves in their world, their mood. While it may not be what people expect from them, this album fulfills those expectations exactly. They had time to discover what makes them interesting and what sounds they want to explore, and so they have now found their home with 'Zeal & Ardor'.
