With the charm of life-loving minstrels, the joking and drinking-loving comedian souls led by their captain Hauptmann Feuerschwanz hit right into the heart of the audience. They serve up a versatile sound brew of hard guitar riffs and lively medieval folk, garnished with infectiously entertaining comedic moments on stage. After two studio albums and a live album, 'Metvernichter' is the fourth strike from Hauptmann and his awesome gang. Alongside the well-known medieval and folk sounds, occasionally spiced with ska rhythms, there are also brutal guitar walls and loud bagpipes. An album from one mold that represents the constant musical development of the group. And even on health issues, the tough guys from Erlangen take a stance.
